‘Ghana Must Go’ bags banned at airports – FAAN

A ban has been placed on the use of ‘Ghana Must Go’ bags by passengers at all airports in the country by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

This was contained in a circular by FAAN, titled, ‘Re: Prohibition of Usage Of Ghana Must Go’, signed by Manager, Airport Services, Henok Gizachew. Passengers passing through the nation’s international airports are specifically prohibited.

Gizachew said that the bag was banned by the Authority because it cause airlines to suffer significant losses.

He also revealed that the airport’s conveyor belt system has been damaged by the bag.

He mentioned that travellers who want to use “Ghana Must Go” must have the same well-packaged in carton or hardcover of rectangular size.

Many Nigerian travellers love the Ghana Must Go bag because it’s lightweight and can hold heavier items, and also available in multiple sizes.
