BUA Cement Plc (NGX: BUACEMENT) says the meeting of the Board of the Directors of the company has been rescheduled.
In a document published on the Nigerian Exchange on Thursday, CUA Cement said the meeting earlier scheduled to hold on Thursday, 20th of July 2023 has been postponed to Monday, 24th July 2023.
BUA Cement, however, did not disclose the reason behind the postponement of the meeting.
The Company’s Unaudited Financial Statements for the period ended 30th June 2023 will considered at the meeting amongst other matters.
According to the company, the closed period for trading in the Company’s shares which commenced on the 1st of July 2023 and will continue until Twenty-Four (24) hours after the Unaudited Financial Statement is released to the relevant regulatory bodies and the public.
“Accordingly, no Director, employee, persons discharging Managerial responsibility, and advisers of the Company and their connected persons may directly or indirectly deal in the securities of the Company during the closed period.”
The equity price of BUA Cement closed flat at N98.95 per share on Thursday on the floor of the Nigerian Exchange.
