Africa Prudential announces 50 kobo for 2022 Financial Year

Africa Prudential Plc (NGX: AFRIPRUD) has announced a dividend of 50 kobo per 50 Kobo ordinary share for the full year period ended December 31, 2022.

The dividend paid announced is same as the company paid to shareholders. It will be subject to appropriate withholding tax and approval of shareholders at the next Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The qualification date for the dividend has been set for April 14, 2023.

On May 2, 2023, dividends will be paid electronically to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as of April 14, 2023, and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their Bank accounts.

Shareholders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration are advised to complete our digitized e-mandate form on https://africaprudential.com/claim-yourdividend-here/, which is also available on our website: www.africaprudential.com.

Shareholders with dividend warrants and share certificates that have remained unclaimed or are yet to be presented for payment or returned for validation are advised to complete the e-dividend registration form.

The Company’s Annual General Meeting will be held at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, 1, Aguiyi Ironsi Street, Maitama, Abuja on Tuesday May 2, 2023, at 10am.

Africa Prudential Plc reported a profit after tax of N1.49 billion for the 2022 financial year and an earnings per share of 75 Kobo.
